KURT D. LLOYD APPOINTED CO-CHAIR OF ITLA EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS
On July 1, 2007, Kurt D. Lloyd was appointed as Co-Chair
of the Educational Seminars Committee by the incoming President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. The ITLA educational seminars address new developments and changes personal injury and wrongful death, including automobile negligence, medical negligence, product liability and worker’s compensation, but also routinely focus on changes in the rules of evidence and civil procedure. “Because the Illinois Supreme Court has now adopted mandatory continuing legal education requirements, I hope that I can add the necessary experience to maintain the seminar curricula up to the Court’s standards” said Lloyd. In 1995, Kurt Lloyd previously acted as Co-Chair for planning ITLA’s educational seminars and programs. He has also been an invited speaker on many occasions at ITLA’s annual Medical Negligence Seminar, which historically has been the most widely attended seminar by Illinois lawyers throughout the State, and an invited speaker at many other educational seminars.
